Full-time, Salary, FLSA Exempt 

Center for Children and Families, Inc. (CCFI), based in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Chief Executive Officer with overall responsibility for the operation of the Center for Children and Families, Inc. with a $2 million budget, 30 employees and 5 direct reports for the CEO. CCFI is one of Cleveland County’s oldest and most successful independent, private non-profit agencies, offering a wide range of therapeutic and social services to vulnerable children, youth, and families. Services include a certified outpatient mental health program, a Boys & Girls Club, and parent education and support services to address child abuse and neglect, divorce, and other family risk factors. The CEO is supported by an engaged Board, a skilled and experienced leadership team, highly qualified staff and a caring and encouraging team culture. 

 

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Strong preference for a master’s degree in social science, human services, or related field or CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive)

  • Strong preference for experience in providing and/or managing direct services with children/families who have experienced trauma

  • Excellent community engagement and public relations skills

  • Excellent communications skills including oral, written, and public speaking

  • Inclusive and collaborative leadership and management style

  • Successful fundraising record including individual and corporate donor relations, foundation and government grants

  • Prior experience in non-profit sector managing operations for service delivery, program development, personnel management and contract and grants management

  • Strong financial planning and management skills including budget management and the ability to read and understand financial statements

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, insurance, and use of personal vehicle

  • Must be available for weekend and evening work as required

  • Must pass criminal history and other background checks
