Center for Children and Families, Inc. (CCFI), based in Norman, Oklahoma, seeks a Development Coordinator to manage overall gift administration and assist with donor cultivation, grant administration and other stewardship tasks.


CCFI is one of Cleveland County’s oldest and most successful independent, private non-profit agencies, offering a wide range of therapeutic and social services to vulnerable children, youth and families. CCFI is a growing agency that has recently moved into a newly renovated 28,000 square foot facility located in the heart of Norman. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Gift Administration

• Data entry using CRM (Bloomerang)

• Maintain donor information in an orderly and efficient manner and accept, record, acknowledge and reconcile all gifts (cash, foundation commitments and pledges)

• Manage thank you letter process and route for review and signature

• Manage donor credit card payments (semi-monthly)

• Assist in verification of accuracy of monthly donor database transactions (Corporate, Individual, Foundation and Pledge Balance)

• Interact with donors to verify and update information as needed

• Assist in preparation of quarterly donor invoices and thank you letters (for monthly donors)

• Assist in preparation annual tax letters for donors


Grant Administration

• Input grant tracking information in CRM

• Coordinate gathering of data and other information

• Assist with grant writing and reporting


Donor Cultivation- Individual and Corporate

• Assist with donor cultivation events and annual Hands & Hearts fundraiser

• Track donor contact assignments and completed contacts in CRM and provide regular reporting

• Direct donor contact via phone, meetings etc.,

• Coordinate annual End of Year direct mail campaign

• Assist with annual Corporate Sponsorship campaign

• Attend outreach/engagement events as needed

• Share the CCFI mission with donors and other guests by hosting agency tours as needed


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree

• At least two years of nonprofit fundraising experience

• CRM database management experience preferred


OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass criminal history and other background checks

• Computer, data and electronic media proficiency (MS Office)

• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (proof of vaccination is required)
