Join us as we welcome Geoff Camp, State Director of Aerospace & Defense, Oklahoma Department of Commerce as our guest speaker. Director Camp will share the goals he and his team have accomplished in 2020 and 2021 and their goals for the future for Oklahoma’s aerospace and defense. Camp has nearly 30 years of aerospace experience. His career started as an E-3 AWACS Jet Engine Mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. He is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University Aviation Program, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science with an emphasis in Technical Services and Management. Before becoming the State Director of Aerospace and Defense, Geoff served as Senior Executive – Business Development for Vertical Aerospace, an Oklahoma aerospace company in Bristow.

What: The Norman Chamber Aviation/Transportation Committee monitors aviation and transportation issues relevant to the Norman community and promotes aviation in Norman and the Max Westheimer Airport as valuable community assets.

Who Attends: Representatives from the Norman Chamber, City of Norman, University of Oklahoma, plus special guests and speakers! This meeting is open to all members of the Norman Chamber of Commerce.
