Frank S. Coulter Golf Tournament Raises Funds for MNTC Foundation
The Moore Norman Technology Center Foundation’s annual Frank S. Coulter Memorial Golf Tournament was held Monday at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman. Sponsors raised more than $24,000 toward helping MNTC students with needs that would otherwise keep them from completing their career programs.
This is the 14th year of the fundraising effort for MNTC’s Foundation. This year MNTC had 30 sponsors and 24 four-member teams play in the tournament.
A committee consisting of two MNTC administrators and a representative for the Foundation assesses scholarship applications. Awarded scholarships are used for necessary items like certification exams, tuition, books, and supplies. Scholarships may also be used for personal student issues such as housing, utility services, vehicle repair, and gasoline.
This year’s corporate and independent team sponsors represent Norman, Moore, and Oklahoma City.
Platinum Level: Manhattan Construction and The Stacy Group.
Gold Level: Reynolds Ford of Norman and Snap-on Industrial.
Bronze Level: 1NB Financial Center, BancFirst, First United Bank, First Fidelity Bank, Insurica, Morris Family LLC, OEC, Rosenstein Fist & Ringold, Tinker Federal Credit Union and Tio Chuy’s Auto Sales.
Hole Sponsorship: Allen Consulting, Apollo Building Systems, Armstrong Bank, Carlsbad Management, Eskridge Honda, Floyd Law Group, Ideal Homes, Renaissance Architects, Wallace Engineering and Sooners Helping Sooners.
Meal Sponsors: SportsTalk Radio and Waggoners Mechanical.
Gift Sponsors: Arvest Bank, Reynolds Ford of Norman, Quality Promotions and Dixon Golf.
The annual tournament and fundraiser are named after Frank S. Coulter who served as MNTC’s superintendent from 1979-2003. To learn how you can donate to MNTC’s Foundation visit mntc.edu/foundation. For more information about MNTC visit mntc.edu.
