Norman Chamber of Commerce Announces Leadership Norman Class 

Thirty-one Norman residents have been chosen to participate in the Chamber’s 41st Leadership Norman class. The program is designed to identify and motivate emerging leaders through development of their potential for community leadership.

During the next several months, participants will attend 11 interactive sessions covering a variety of topics including communication, education, personal leadership, quality of life issues, city and state government, health care, and economic development. Class members will also be given the opportunity to serve area non-profits.

Co-chairs of this year's program are John Davenport, Tribute Memorial Care and Erin Barnhart, Norman Regional Health Foundation. Both are graduates of Leadership Norman and Davenport served as a co-chair for the 2020 class.

Class members are: Cinthya Allen, City of Norman; Vicki Anderson, 1NB Financial Center; Cole Atkinson, Moore Norman Technology Center; Ben Baranowski, Canopy Weather; Brent Barbour, Norman Police Department; Katelyn Bell, MA+ Architecture; Rebecca Delsigne, First Fidelity Bank; Marla Freeman, Oklahoma Natural Gas; Randy Gardner, Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity; Jenny Gifford, BancFirst; Bobby Goldsberry, PEC; Jenny Goodspeed, Armstrong Bank; Christi Gum, Moore Norman Technology Center; Bill Hickman, Hickman Law Group; Christina Hurd, Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc.; Emma Keith, The Norman Transcript; Melissa Klink, Center for Children & Families; Kurtis Lee, University of Oklahoma; Alex Linton, First United Bank; Shaun McGinnis, Hitachi Computer Products, America; Sheila McPherson, Catholic Charities; Chase Moore, Fairway Insurance Group LLC; Brandy Norris, First Citizens Bank; Korie Peacock, WPM Design Group, PLLC; Sara Raney, Norman Regional Health System; Sarah Roberts, Tinker Federal Credit Union; Tyler Sublett, JE Dunn Construction; Chad Vincent, Norman Police Department; Brad Wallace, MidFirst Bank; John Williamson, United States District Court; Jonathon Winders, Tribute Memorial Care.

The class will attend an Orientation session on Thursday, September 30 at Legend’s Times Two restaurant.
