Summary:  

Oversee the design and execution of the construction documents for our clients. Work closely with the Project Manager to execute project plans. Coordinates with Project Manager to supervise the Design Team’s design and technical delivery of the construction documents. Relied upon to meet with clients and stakeholders to discuss the initial construction design, prepare budgets, create the final design, and oversee the entire design process from start to finish. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Working with clients to determine requirements for design 

• 2. Researches, programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems. 

• 3. Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents. 

• 4. Plans and programs layout of project(s); coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval. 

• 5. Utilizes computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans. 

• 6. Produces construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit. 

• 7. Working with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project. 

• 8. Interfaces with Director of Architecture and project managers. 

• 9. Works in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams. 

• 10 .Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications. 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture

2. 3+ years of architectural experience preferably

3. Understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements 

4. Proficiency in Revit, and Microsoft Office suite is required. 

5. Ability to provide elegant and efficient design solutions. 

6. Excellent oral and written communication 

7. Analytical and problem-solving skills 

8. High attention to detail 

9. Ability to work under indirect supervision 

10. Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability.
