Summary 

A Project Manager manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work. Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects. Prepares strategic plans for project success. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost—effective execution of assigned projects. 

 

Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. Actively manages client budgets, sched u les, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts. 

Duties and responsibilities 

  • 1. Review Estimate vs Actuals independently and provide comments or corrections. 

  • 2. Provide to Accounting a complete fee breakdown for all consultants for each phase. 

  • 3. Establish and update the Gantt style schedule in Procore, Build or similar. 

  • 4. Indicate when all required site visits will happen. 

  • 5. Track changes to contracts and contracts amounts and notify client of any delays as they happen and maintain accurate records of schedule changes. 

  • 6. Setting up Procore, Build or similar. 

  • 7. Generate monthly (20th of each month) billing invoices for their projects that adheres to the company standard template. 

  • 8. Specifications or as delegated to said employee or agent. 

  • 9. Weekly Project Client meeting/minutes 

  • 10. Weekly Project A/E Design Team meeting/minutes 

  • 11. Coordinating with clients to determine design requirements, including reviewing sketches and models with the client. 

  • 12. Communicating with contractors about construction progress and potential problems that may arise during the building process. 


Qualifications 

  • 1. 5-year bachelor’s degree in architecture (BArch) 

  • 2. 8 or more years of relevant work experience under the direct supervision of a Registered Architect. 

  • 3. Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and other related tools 
    4. Understanding architectural / construction means and methods; and the ability to fully detail these systems in coordination with structural, mechanical, and civil trades. 
    5. Proficient understanding of Construction Drawing/Detailing of various commercial and institutional building systems of significant size. Healthcare architectural design experience preferred, but not required. 
    6. Ability to solve complex architectural design and construction problems to serve the Client’s program and advise the Senior Management team of any issues that deviate from the project program goals and/or that impact the project budget and timeline.
