American Legion Post 88 – Patriot Day Ceremony – September 11 American Legion Post 88 in Norman proudly honors the heroes of September 11th with a heartfelt Patriot Day ceremony, which will be open to the public. This annual gathering pays tribute to the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the resilience of our nation. Through reflection, remembrance, and community unity, Post 88 reaffirms its commitment to service, patriotism, and supporting veterans and their families. The ceremony will began a promptly at 9 am with a moment of silence. In attendance there will be officers and members of Post 88; Norman Police, Fire and First Responders and the Cleveland County Sheriff, as well as other organizations in the community. Post 88 is located at 710 E. Main Street in Norman.
